Torremolinos

Its municipal term extends in the coastal strip that goes of the mouth of the Guadalhorce river to Benalmádena and that raises towards the slopes of the Mountain range of Mijas.

Although its history seems to begin in 1489, Torremolinos is the typical product of the tourist boom of the sixties, which turned a small population of fishermen into an extensive and populous city devoted entirely to sun and beach tourism, which offers extensive beaches and all kinds of related facilities; to which we must add the existence of a Conference Center that has been on many occasions a meeting place for important international meetings.

From its past it preserves some features in the neighborhood of Bajondillo and Carihuela, but the Torre de Pimentel stands out.
